Bench smoke absorber with side baffles, two flexible PCB clamps and 8 carbon filters
The 948DQ-I puts the extractor and the board holder in one unit. The two flexible gooseneck arms with crocodile clips hold a PCB directly in the airflow, and the removable side baffles stop the smoke escaping sideways, so the fan collects fumes effectively within about 10 cm of the intake. Filtering is a thick activated-carbon sponge behind the front grille; the unit ships with eight sponges, so replacements last a long time. The fan is a 5-blade design with strong suction and low noise, with a rocker switch on the back. Mains powered.
