Inspect solder joints and SMD parts on a PC or phone screen – with measuring software
For checking solder joints, reading tiny part markings and finding hairline cracks, a digital microscope on a screen beats a loupe. This one has a 640 × 480 sensor, up to 500× magnification depending on distance, and eight white LEDs around the lens with a dimmer wheel. The aluminium lift stand (190 mm tall, 148 × 77 mm base) moves the scope up and down smoothly with a rack, so you focus by height and keep both hands free. The Windows software shows the live image, takes photos and videos, and has measuring tools; with the included OTG and USB-C adapters it also works with most Android phones (USB camera app). Scope body 112 mm long, Ø 33 mm, cable length ≈1.5 m. Versions up to 1600× and with Wi-Fi are available on request.
