About

The nRF52840 is Nordic's flagship BLE chip: ARM Cortex-M4F at 64 MHz, 1 MB flash, 256 KB RAM, Bluetooth 5 LE and NFC, with sleep currents around 20 µA — a keyboard build runs for months on a small battery. This board puts the chip in the classic Pro Micro footprint with the nice!nano v2.0 pinout, so it drops straight into ZMK keyboard PCBs and cases designed for the nice!nano. USB-C handles both data and battery charging (4.2 V Li-Po, charge management on board), and the B+ / B− pads take the battery leads. The UF2 bootloader means firmware is flashed by dragging a file onto a USB drive — no programmer, no drivers. Pin headers ship loose (mill-max friendly holes), and the board also works with Arduino, CircuitPython and the Nordic SDK.
