Arduino Mega-compatible board with 54 I/O pins โ for projects that outgrow the Uno
When a project runs out of pins or memory on an Uno, this is the standard answer. The ATmega2560 offers 54 digital I/O (15 with PWM), 16 analog inputs, 4 hardware UARTs, SPI, I2C and 256 KB of flash โ eight times the Uno. The board keeps the Mega form factor, so RAMPS 3D-printer boards, CNC shields and every Mega-compatible shield plug straight in, and it works out of the box with the Arduino IDE (select Arduino Mega 2560). This improved revision replaces the old USB-B socket with USB-C and uses the CH340G serial chip, with the usual barrel jack for 7โ12 V supply. Pin sockets accept jumper wires directly โ no soldering needed to start.
