About
Magnetic pogo connectors are how smartwatches, headsets and robot docks charge: no fiddly plug, just bring the two halves together and the magnets pull them into place. This 5-pin version carries power plus a few data or signal lines (USB 2.0 is possible). The plug side has spring-loaded gold-plated pins and a flying lead; the socket side has flat gold pads, the mating magnets and ears with holes for screwing it into a panel. Contact resistance under 30 mฮฉ, rated for 100 000 cycles. One unit is one plug (with cable) plus one socket.
