Classic tilting bench smoke absorber with carbon filter, rear cover and exhaust hose
The 493 is the no-nonsense fume absorber found on repair benches everywhere: a square fan housing on a tilting wire stand, an activated-carbon pad in front of the fan, and a mains cable. This is the stronger 30 W model, with a quiet high-performance fan. Unlike the bare unit, this set comes with the rear cover and hose clamp, plus a 1 m aluminium-foil exhaust hose that attaches to the back so the air can be vented away from your face or outside. Tilt the head to point the intake straight at the joint. Spare filter pads are available on request; 16 W, 50 W and 60 W speed-controlled versions are available too.
